Featured a fully stocked and organized pro shop. Tons of seating area to hang out and have few drinks with full views of the Houston skyline. Massive well maintained putting green and self service driving range also with the Houston Skyline in background
Conditions: 8.1/10
Even during the winter time the greens were borderline perfect. Bunkers were freshly raked that morning and sand was actually soft. Tee boxes occasionally had a lot of divots but its a par 3 course so comes with the territory. I will say they were all sanded in and trying to be constantly repaired. East River 9 clearly puts a lot of work into their course maintenance .
Value: 7/10
This was a hard category to grade. We were able to pick up the 10am tee time on a Monday for 25 bucks on Golf Now. The normal price for 9 holes is 36 dollars. You do pay full price if you want to play another 9 holes. At first it seemed a little steep to me being it's only 9 holes but the condition this course is in and facilities around it i can understand the price a little more. The average golfer may moan and groan about the cost but we have definitely paid more for less, therefore a slightly above average score.
